This year has started off in a very fast pace. I absolutely love what God is doing at NorthStar. We have seen many people already give their hearts to Christ. We have seen numerous people take the next step of baptism. We have seen more go through our membership class in the first two months than ever before. We have seen new ministries launched, current ministries thriving and future ministries making preparation. There is excitement here.
We exist as a church so that those that are far from God can draw near to Him through the power of Jesus Christ. We had a mission team go on mission to the Philippines and we saw thousands come to Christ. We have teams going to Haiti and Africa in just a few weeks. We launched Faith Commitment Giving which has twenty four different missions and ministry opportunities. People are giving above and beyond to this program and that is a blessing. We have seen countless lives being changed in our Celebrate Recovery ministry.
We have seen a significant increase in attendance and first time guest at both of our campuses. We have incredible plans for our Tenth Anniversary that will be coming up next month. You will not want to miss this historic day. We have seen our members share selflessly within our community touching lives and making a difference in eternity. Shall I go on? There is a strong sense of excitement throughout our entire church as to what God is doing and going to do. I am so thankful to be a part of such a great church.
